The Fourth

I know it has been a long time since I have updated in the blog. I have been so busy with all of my crazy kids. Just look at this picture. They are so silly. This picture is from Independence Day. The whole family had crazy Fourth sun glasses. We had such a great time at the parade, then later the fire works. We also had time in the middle to go for a swim at the water park.






I will try to keep up with updates as I can, but now I am starting school on Monday. We will see how much time I have. LOL. Good luck to me.

What do you do when you want it all?

That is a silly question. But, I want all the scrapbooking stuff I can buy. But, I can't afford to buy a lot of it. So, I decided to become a Creative Memories consultant so I can get it at a discount. I am having so much fun with this. I am sharing this with everyone. If you love scrapbooking, let me know. What are the kids up to?
Well, RJ and JC are playing T-Ball.
Kayla is playing soccer.
Kayla is also our first "Brace Face" in the family. She just got braces yesterday.
Emma just mastered potty training today.
Jackson just mastered walking yesterday. Hooray! Everyone is up to something good.



Oh yeah! And Richard is up to his usual stuff. He is coaching football and T-ball right now, he just finished a winning season of baseball. He is finishing up a semester of school. He is almost done with that master's degree.

Digging in the Closet

Okay, I have been scanning in pictures, I still have lots to go, but what I have found so far is just wonderful. I have really enjoyed the trip down memory lane and I will just share a few for now.



This is a picture of me and my siblings. Notice the interesting bangs on me and Benjamin. Hmmm. Well that is what happens when a first grader gets bored in class, then the pre-schooler decides to copy. In the Picture are Denise, Hugh, Will (back row) then Brenda and Benjamin (front row).


This was a church event. My Daddy and I went to the Daddy Daughter Banquet at the church for the Merry Miss class.


My Mama is so beautiful in this picture. I still remember that she used to take us out to the lake often. Obviously I don't remember this particular trip since I was just a baby, but I love this picture of us.

I know, It has been a while...

Ok, so it has been a while since I updated this blog thing. I got busy checking out Facebook. In fact, I have discovered I love it so much more than Myspace. I have found lots of old pals from high school as well as from other places I have lived. I did not realize how many people I knew. Just imagine what that means. If I know that many people and so on and so on... then think of what one person could accomplish in this world. It makes me realize that I am not insignificant. It is kind of like the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" only, I did not have to have an angel point it out to me. We each touch so many lives during the course of our own lives.

Well, enough of the mushy stuff, lets get caught up with the Howards.


Unfortunately our beloved Bulldogs did not do as well as we would have liked. But, on the other hand, Richard helped coach the Camden County Wildcats to a win at the State Championship game in the GA Dome. This was a really exciting thing for us. He has been coaching for 5 years now and this is the first time he has ever been a part of something like this. The Wildcats did win state the year before he started coaching.

The kids had a fantastic Christmas. We really went overboard. But, that is what memories are made of.

Kayla will turn 12 in just over a week. I am feeling a bit down about that. She will move up in church to Young Womens. Time sure flies.

I have found lots of old friends and have really enjoyed that.

I decided to take a break from school, again. I should be set to return in September. But for now, I am just trying to be the best wife, mother, homemaker, etc. that I can be. So far, I am still adjusting. LOL.

Camden County Wildcats going to State Championship

For those of you who don't know, Richard is a coach with the Camden County Wildcat football team. We will be making a trip to the GA Dome next week to play Peachtree Ridge for the title of State Champion in the 5A division. Go CATS!!!
